?️ Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning, Harbour Acceptance Trials (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Trials (SAT) for shipboard mechanical systems.
Test, troubleshoot, and verify the performance of diesel engines, propulsion systems, gearboxes, shafting, steering gear, HVAC, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure compliance with naval standards, OEM specifications, contractual requirements, and classification society rules.
Prepare test procedures, document trial results, and resolve technical issues identified during commissioning.
Coordinate with shipyard teams, OEM representatives, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful vessel acceptance and delivery.
? Requirements
✅ Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
✅ Relevant experience in marine or naval ship commissioning, testing, and sea trials.
✅ Strong knowledge of shipboard mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
✅ Ability to prepare technical documentation and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
