Mustafa Sid Ahmed Almagbool (1953-17 January 1996; Arabic: مصطفى سيد احمد‎) is a Sudanese singer. He was born in Wad Solfabb village,which located in Al Jazirah state in central Sudan close to El-Hsaissa town
Early Live: Mustafa had seven sisters and one brother. His brother life and death had a great influence in Mustafa ,because his brother named Al-makkabool was known in his homeland as a singer and poet and his dramaticlly death in just 27 year let Mustafa to agreat desire to complete his brother career. Mustafa joined primary education in El-Hasissa close to his homeland .Then Mustafa moved to Port Sudan town a capital of Red Sea State ,where he got his Secondary education . his first appeared as a singer in 1971 joining the Training Teachers Institute. When Mostafa graduted working as a teacher in intermediate school(1973-75).

Career: Mustafa spent four years studied in Higher Institute for Music and Drama in Khartoum and graduted in late of the 1970s. He is considered as a pioneer of a new style of Sudanese singing because Mustafa used a poetry labeled by many critics as sophisticated and complicated and categorizing as polticial singing . When Mustafa started his career he collaborated with many traditional singers writers and poets singer but after afew years Mustafa disagreed with the his poets like one of them who wrote his song "Shagga Alayaam" (The suffering of the days) and dispute accelerated to led to a dispute with the whole Sudanese Union for the Singing and music. Mustafa then redirected his way collaborated with younger poets actully they were not classify as singer writers and their poetry classified as symoblic and talk about the freedom and struggling of Sudanese people against the dictatorship and that in late of 1970s and early of 1980s(The late years of of Jaafar Muhammad al-Nemieri regime) his new poets like Yahia Fadullah, Abu zar Al-gafari, Mohammed Elmahdi Abed Elwahab, Gasim Abu zid, Katab Hassan Ahmed, Salaah haj Seed,and later in late of 1980s and 1990s he collaborated with more poets likAl-ssadiq Al-raddi ,Mohammed Elhassan Salim Homid,Alkattiabi,Azahri Mohammed Ali,Atif Khiry,Abed Elrahim Abu Zakrra,Medani El-Nakhaly,Mohammed Ali Shammo.

Mostafa was also known as a poet and composer. Mustafa migrated to Russia in 1989 when he afflicted by kidney failure and he made surgery there before going to Egypt (Alexandria and Cairo). Finally Mustafa migrated to Qatar where spent the rest of his life until passed away in mid of January 1996 after a long struggling of kidney failure. Along the time when Mustafa Sid Ahmed struggling against the disease he released many songs. Most of these songs expressed the suffering and struggle of Sudanese against the present regime of Omar al-Bashir. Mustafa songs reflected his exile and expatriates suffering which mix his struggling against his own pain ,which was transmitted among students in universities and schools and amongst many people. Mustafa was regarded as a national hero and a legend even after his death. Mustafa released more than hundred songs. Mustafa wife's Boethienna Nassar and had two sons Saamer and Sid Ahmed ,Mostafa family live now in Canada
